ODIN -The Norse Collection - THE RUNIC CIRCLE
Runes are letters used by the Old Northern European peoples. They were used as magical talismans and for divination, as well as for language. Found on memorial stones and calendars, and also on sacred objects, the Runes were more than just a sacred language. The runic circle is used in magical rituals and provides powerful protection and concentration of energy. It symbolizes the unity of all things in this existence, while also standing for the eternal return of all things to the source, and their emergence from it.
The sacred circle is a symbol of spiritual work. It doesn't matter if that work is done in one's own being, or out in the world, as in a ceremony, where the eyes of one's people are on it. Spiritual work touches the very heart of our intention that we are successful in bringing to ourselves and those around us.
